Cymru to face Gibraltar at the Estádio Algarve

CYMRU’S journey towards the UEFA Nations League and the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers is poised to kick off in the Algarve on Thursday 6th June, as Rob Page’s squad gears up to take on Gibraltar at the Estádio Algarve (kick-off time to be confirmed).

The last encounter between the two teams took place in October, with a Cymru side featuring four debutants securing a resounding 4-0 victory in Wrexham. Rob Page perceives this upcoming match as the initial step in priming his squad for the UEFA Nations League campaign set to commence in September. In this tournament, Cymru is slated to face formidable opponents such as Iceland, Montenegro, and Türkiye.

Following the showdown at the Estádio Algarve, Cymru will embark on a journey to Trnava, where they will clash with Slovakia at the Anton Malatinkský Stadium on Sunday 9th June (kick-off at 7:45pm BST).

Details regarding ticket availability for both fixtures will be communicated in due course.
