AT THE LLANDEILO and District Civic Society’s Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 2 July a Civic Award was presented to the organisers of the Llandeilo Literary Festival.
The award was made by the Society in recognition of the excellence of the now established annual Lit Fest, which like Llandeilo’s previously awarded annual Music Festival has notably enhanced what Llandeilo has to offer.

The AGM also included a tribute to Ieuan Jones, a major figure in the community for many years who had recently died and had been a greatly valued speaker for the Society about Llandeilo as it was in former times.
