Helicopter deployed in search for two missing Flintshire boys

A search is underway for two boys who have gone missing overnight in Flintshire, prompting concerns for their safety. Reggie, 12, and Jayden, 11, were last seen in Shotton, just after midnight on Tuesday, 22 October.

North Wales Police have launched an urgent appeal to the public for help in locating the boys. A Coastguard rescue helicopter has also been deployed in the search effort, which is ongoing.

In a statement, a police spokesperson said: “Reggie, aged 12, and Jayden, aged 11, were last seen in the area of Rowley’s Drive, Shotton, shortly after midnight on 22nd October. Reggie is white, with short brown hair, approximately 5ft 5in tall, and was last seen wearing a black coat and black trousers. Jayden is white, with short brown hair, around 5ft tall.”

There is concern that the boys may have changed their clothing since they were last spotted.
