A WOMAN aged sixty-nine has died after being admitted to hospital with severe injuries.
North Wales Police stated that a thirty-three-year-old man, initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has now been further arrested on suspicion of murder.
The incident unfolded when police were called to a residential property on Cefndy Road, Rhyl, Denbighshire, on Thursday night (Oct 19).
A twenty-five-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on conditional bail.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this sad time, who are being supported by specialist police teams,” North Wales Police said in a statement on Saturday.
