DIANE GREENING, an Airport Duty Manager at Cardiff Airport, has thanked her colleagues for donating £667 to UCAN Productions, a charity that supports her son.
Ethan Greening was born with rare generic condition called MPS1. The symptoms mean he has faced many difficulties.
Diane and her family have been raising awareness of UCAN Productions, a Welsh performance and creative arts charity for blind and partially sighted children, young people, adults and their friends.
Ethan’s story has been featured on the BBC’s The One Show and performed the ‘Greatest Showman’ on Children in Need, as part of the Challenge Squad, in November 2024.
He said: “I am really proud to have been able to promote UCAN Productions as they have given me so much. Thank you to you all for the money you raised you will really help to make our lives better.”
Diane Greening, Ethan’s mum and Airport Duty Manager at Cardiff Airport, added: “The money raised by you all as an Airport community means such a lot to us, as we have seen the benefits upfront that this money can do for a young person, from helping towards transport costs to having small presents at Christmas. We are so grateful to you all. Thank you.”
Bernie Latham, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of UCAN Productions, said: “On behalf of everyone at UCAN, a massive thank you for your very generous donation, we all very much appreciate your help. I know it will make a huge difference to the lives of children and young people with sight loss in Wales.”
