LOCAL Insurance Brokers, Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Llanelli, continue to grow, with three new members joining their expanding team.
Ros Kintu is a Claims Adviser and has worked in Insurance claims for many years having gained her A.C.I.I. (Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute).
She said: “I enjoy the work immensely – no two days are the same, and I enjoy the challenge of trying to get the best result possible for our clients.”
Rosalind and her husband also run a pub, where live music plays an important role.
Gavin Puzas joins as an Account Executive with a Cert CII qualification.
He said: “I saw an opportunity to grow with the company. I have keen interest in property and have been flipping properties with my partner in my spare time.
“I love being by the sea, I try to find any excuse to get down to the beach. We have two dogs that are always tagging along.”
The final new recruit is Account Handler, Joe Durkan, who has a BSc in teaching and worked as a geography teacher for the last 15 years, two years of which he spent in Ireland. Joe moved to England in 2011 again in a teaching role, and more recently moved to Wales.
He said: “I worked for a few months in personal lines before deciding to make the move to commercial. I have really enjoyed learning about the commercial side of insurance and the varied types of products on offer and I hope to gain my cert CII qualification over the coming months.
“I have loved the move to Wales and especially Llanelli. It reminds me of Ireland as the people are so friendly and helpful. The coastline around here is amazing, and we love walking the dogs on the beaches. I love running and the coastal paths are a motivation to get out and exercise.”
