SEVERE weather and challenging driving conditions are expected throughout today (January 9) as Storm Goretti has hit Ceredigion.
A Yellow warning for wind and rain is in force in Ceredigion; as well as a Yellow for snow and an Amber warning for snow on the eastern side of the county. The latest information on these weather warnings is available on the Met Office website: UK weather warnings – Met Office

The weather is expected to lead to hazardous travel conditions and disruptions to services. Crews will be out treating/gritting the highways on the Precautionary Salting Routes overnight, as needed.
If you have to travel, keep an eye on the weather forecast on the Met Office website, and be very careful on your travels.
