Police appeal after cyclist injured in Hit-and-Run near Powys Castle

Vehicle believed to be silver or grey failed to stop following collision on Berriew Road

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle on Berriew Road near Powys Castle.

The incident occurred at around 5.05pm on Friday, January 23, and involved a cyclist and a vehicle believed to be silver or grey in colour. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene following the collision.

One person was taken to hospital for further medical treatment. Their condition has not been confirmed.

Officers investigating the incident are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
