STAFF at Jig-So were delighted to show the Chair of Ceredigion County Council, Cllr Gill Hopley, around the children’s centre in Cardigan.
The tour featured the fabulous, generously funded Sensory Room. During her visit Cllr Hopley congratulated every one for their hard work and presented some of the parents who had recently completed and been accredited by Agored Cymru, the second course developed and delivered by Angela Springett, Senior Outreach Family Support Worker at Jig-So.
This course, entitled Learning Through a Community Based Activity, is aimed at encouraging and developing structured play for parents, carers and their children, incorporating an awareness of their local community through language and play.
Cllr Hopley was also interested to have an update on the developing work of Jig-So.
