Police issue security advice to rural residents
POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a quad bike from a property in Llanddew, near Brecon, in the early hours of Tuesday (February 25).
Officers say the incident occurred at around 3am, when a bright neon yellow and black Yamaha racing quad bike was taken from the premises.
The vehicle was later recovered in a field in the surrounding area.
Dyfed-Powys Police is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the theft and is urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward.

Police are reminding rural property owners to ensure vehicles such as quad bikes are secured with appropriate locks, stored out of sight where possible, and that CCTV systems are in good working order. Residents are also encouraged to report any suspicious vehicles or activity in their communities immediately.
