New 8,000 sq ft branch launches as retailer announces plans for 30 new store openings in 2026
SUPERDRUG has opened a new store at Cwmbran Retail Park as part of its continued expansion plans across the UK.
The new 8,000 sq ft store has created 18 permanent roles and is one of a number of new openings planned by the health and beauty retailer, which aims to launch 30 new locations during 2026.
The store offers an expanded beauty range, including Superdrug’s own-brand cosmetics line Studio London, as well as popular in-house ranges such as B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E and Optimum.
Shoppers will also be able to browse a wider selection of exclusive beauty and personal care brands, with Superdrug saying the store will cater to a broad range of preferences and needs.
The new branch will stock a variety of health and beauty products, including everyday essentials, toiletries, skincare and fragrances, alongside a growing range of trending Korean beauty items.
In addition, the store includes a dedicated Beauty Studio offering treatments such as acrylic nails, brow styling and piercings.
Clare Jennings, Property Director at Superdrug, said: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of our new store in Cwmbran Retail Park, further strengthening Superdrug’s presence in the region.
“This latest addition enables us to offer an extensive range of products and services, while delivering a high-quality shopping experience for our customers.
“We’re confident the local community will welcome the new store, which features an extensive range of leading health and beauty brands and a dedicated Beauty Studio. The opening will also create new jobs, support the local economy and provide valuable career opportunities within the area.”
