Irish Ferries launches ‘Limericks for Kids’ competition with £11,000 prize pot up for grabs

Repro Free: Monday 11th May 2026; Irish Ferries today launched Limericks for Kids, an initiative inviting children aged 15 or under to get creative and let their imaginations set sail by penning their very own Limerick poem. The aim of the campaign is to inspire children to write and create, helping reduce screen time. IRISH FERRIES has launched ‘Limericks for Kids’, a new creative competition encouraging children aged 15 and under to put pen to paper and write their own limerick.

Designed to spark imagination and creativity away from screens, the initiative offers a prize pot of £11,000, with prizes available on Irish Ferries’ Dover–Calais route and across its UK–Ireland sailings.
