Sam Rowlands MS congratulates local business on its success

Sam Rowlands MS for Fflint Wrecsam at Iscoyd Park with Phil Godsal, Chair of Historic Houses Wales and councillor Jeremy Newton

SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Fflint Wrecsam, has praised Iscoyd Park, on the North Wales border, for being highly commended in a prestigious competition.

Mr Rowlands is a keen supporter of supporting local businesses and promoting tourism in his region, and voted for Iscoyd Park when they were nominated as finalists in their category.

He said: “I am delighted to see Iscoyd Park coming runners up in the Rural Enterprise category of the Countryside Alliance Awards, also known as the Rural Oscars.

“I am pleased to support any initiatives which promote and highlight rural businesses, particularly the Countryside Alliance Awards which celebrate rural businesses that go the extra mile, support their local economy and are the unsung heroes in the community.

My warmest congratulations go to everyone involved.”

The Countryside Alliance Awards help promote rural businesses, giving them a platform to reach a wider audience and highlight the importance of community spirit and the vital roles these businesses play in maintaining the fabric of rural life.

Being nominated in the Countryside Alliance Awards can have a real impact on rural businesses. Most importantly, those businesses which go on to become finalists or champions, will receive regional and national recognition, strengthening the reputation of their brand.

The competition runs across the whole of the United Kingdom and the awards recognise and reward rural businesses and individuals who go above and beyond in their contributions to the community in five categories.
