PART of a Valleys road will close for around two months for works to a bridge to take place.
Croes Bychan Road in the Cynon Valley is set to close from a point 250 metres south-west of its junction with Cwmynysminton Road, south-westwards for a distance of 140 metres.
It’s set for a full closure between May 18 and July 17.
The reason for the closure is to allow remedial works to Croes Bychan bridge to take place.
An alternative route is available via Croes Bychan Road, Crematorium Road and A465 Heads of the Valleys Road.
Access will be maintained to premises but it will not be maintained for pedestrians or emergency services.
