Cardiff founder launches FrameGo on-demand app connecting businesses with  800+ photographers and videographers

A CARDIFF-BASED technology startup is launching in June with a simple  ambition: to make booking a photographer or videographer as easy as booking a ride.

FrameGo, founded by entrepreneur Rahim Bah, officially launches on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at The Celtic Manor Resort, Coldra Wood, The Usk Valley, Chepstow Rd, Newport  NP18 1HQ

The launch event will bring together invited guests from across Welsh public life, business, and  the wider community, including the First Minister of Wales, other politicians, business leaders, faith leaders, influencers, entrepreneurs, and early supporters of the platform.

The company has already recruited more than 800 videographers and photographers across the UK, creating the supply network behind an app designed to help businesses, brands,  creators, and individuals book professional visual content quickly.

For Rahim, the idea did not start in a boardroom. It started with frustration.

In August 2024, he travelled to Edinburgh for a meeting with an investor and wanted a  videographer to capture the trip. After contacting local videographers and photographers, he  was repeatedly told the same thing: they were fully booked, unavailable, or unable to help at  short notice.

With no local option available, he brought a videographer from Cardiff, paying for travel, food,  accommodation, and time away. The final cost was more than £1,000 for around 30 minutes of filming.

Rahim Bah, Founder of FrameGo, said: “That moment stayed with me. I kept thinking, why can  I book a taxi in seconds, but I can’t book a photographer or videographer when I need one?

“Businesses need content faster than ever, but the way people find creative talent is still too  slow, too uncertain, and too dependent on DMs and word of mouth.”

FrameGo was built to solve that gap.

Through the app, users can search for verified photographers and videographers, choose the  type of shoot they need, book talent, communicate in-app, and arrange visual content without  the usual delays.

The platform is aimed at businesses, creators, brands, and influencers wanting regular social  media content, brand launch, or event coverage quickly.

For photographers and videographers, FrameGo creates a new route to paid work.

Instead of relying only on referrals, social media messages, or cold outreach, photographers  and videographers can be discovered by people actively looking to book their services.

Rahim said: “This is not just about convenience. It is about creating opportunity. Businesses  need content to grow. Photographers and videographers need clients to earn. FrameGo sits in  the middle and helps both sides move faster.”

The launch also carries a wider message for Cardiff and Wales.

Rahim believes technology companies do not always need to be built in London to be taken  seriously. By keeping FrameGo rooted in Cardiff, he wants the company to help show that  Wales can produce ambitious technology businesses serving national and global markets.

He said: “There is so much talent in Cardiff and across Wales. We should not have to move everything to London to build something big.

“If FrameGo succeeds, I want it to help shine a light on Cardiff as a place where technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship can grow together.”

Rahim’s own journey adds another layer to the story.

He arrived in the UK at the age of 15, unable to speak English and with no money. He later faced homelessness before going on to build a successful property investment business. FrameGo marks his move into technology, using a personal problem to build a platform for a  wider market.

The company enters the market at a time when demand for content is increasing rapidly. Businesses now need video, photography, social media assets, event coverage, product  visuals, and personal brand content more often than ever before. But many still rely on manual searches, Instagram messages, referrals, and last-minute recommendations to find the right  person.

FrameGo wants to change that.

The company is positioning itself at the intersection of the creator economy, local business marketing, and on-demand services.

The launch event on Saturday, June 13, 2026 will introduce the app to invited guests, early users, business owners, community figures, and local leaders. Invited guests include representatives from politics, business, and faith communities, reflecting the company’s ambition to build something that serves both the creative industry and the wider business  community.

To mark the launch, FrameGo is currently offering early users 50% off their first five  bookings, using promotional code FG060326.
