SECTIONS of road in the Rhondda will close until March next year for coal tip works to take place.
Graigddu Road in Dinas will close from its junction with Dinas Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 295 metres and Vicarage Road will close from its junction with Graigddu Road, generally westwards for a distance of 130 metres.
The closure is needed to allow stabilisation works to Graig Ddu coal tip.
These sections of road will see a full road closure from June 8 until March 31, 2027.
An alternative route is available via Vicarage Road and Dinas Road.
Access will not be maintained for pedestrians, emergency services or to premises but a temporary access road will be created to maintain vehicular access for residents of Graigddu Road.
