BUSINESSES and organisations are being invited to register their interest in sponsoring the Caerphilly 10K, which will next take place on Sunday, May 9, 2027.
Following another record-breaking event in 2026, which saw 3,700 runners take part across the 10K and 2K races alongside thousands of spectators supporting runners throughout Caerphilly town centre, we are now opening sponsorship applications for the 2027 event.
The event takes place in the heart of Caerphilly town centre and continues to grow year on year, creating a vibrant atmosphere for runners, residents and visitors alike, while also providing opportunities for businesses and organisations to support one of the county borough’s largest community events and engage directly with participants and spectators on the day.
A range of opportunities are available, including headline sponsorship, charity partnership and supporting event sponsorship packages such as race bibs, medals and event village branding.
Sponsorship applications will open on Monday 6th July and close on Sunday, August 2.
Cllr Chris Morgan, Cabinet Member for Waste, Leisure and Green Spaces, said: “The Caerphilly 10K continues to grow each year and has become a major event for the county borough.
“We’d particularly encourage local businesses and organisations to get involved and help support the long-term future of the event.”

The Caerphilly 10K supports the Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029, helping to encourage more people to become active and take part in physical activity opportunities across the county borough.
