AFTER a collision on the A48 this morning (May 14) police officers have reminded drivers of the importance of leaving broken down vehicles.
The crash, which happened between Foelgastell and Llanddarog on the A48 shortly before 9am, saw the west-bound carriageway blocked for a number of hours as police officers recovered the vehicles.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the collision, between a van and a Ford Fiesta.
Commenting on social media, Road Policing Officers said that the collision demonstrated why drivers should step out of vehicles which have broken down on dual carriageways.
“Luckily this lady was stood the other side of the barrier, when this van collided with her vehicle in lane 1,” they added.
