THE A487 has now reopened following a RTC near the site of Solva’s Edge Festival on Friday afternoon (Jul 29) at around 16:00 HRS.
The incident resulted in the road being closed by police in both directions for several hours.
There are local reports that a male sadly suffered fatal injuries.
Police said they closed the road to traffic travelling in both directions between Newgale and St Davids.
The Wales Air Ambulance was called to the scene along with all three emergency services.
Being the weekend, there are not yet any official statements from the emergency services.
We will update the story with those as soon as they reach the newsroom.

A local said on Facebook: “Got turned around on the hill just before Solva Hill coming from Haverfordwest – had to go back to Brawdy and find a route through to take my daughter to work in Solva, that took 35 minutes.
“Then decided not to try that route on the way home, so headed up to Croesgoch via St David’s – that took nearly an hour.
“So sad. Thoughts with all involved, and thanks to our incredible emergency services.
Another local road user said: “We just got to the accident just after it happened looked dreadful.”
