CAREW’s Adam Muskett continued his fine goal-scoring form with another hat trick to help his side to a 9-1 win over St Ishmaels on Saturday (Jan 22).
Muskett scored eight the previous weekend to help Carew to a big win over Narberth and he continued where he had left off with another three goals in the space of 12 minutes against Tish.
His first came on eight minutes, his second came three minutes later and he completed his hat trick with only twenty minutes of the game gone.
James Hinchliffe then made it 4-0 to the Rooks midway through the first half.
Tish did not give up and ten minutes before the break, Owen Lawrie set up Joel Morgan to score.
However, Hinchliffe added his second goal of the game five minutes before the break to give Carew a 5-1 half time lead.
Hinchliffe then completed his hat trick on the hour mark and Jordan Richards scored with fifteen minutes to go to make it 7-1.
Sub Zac Rowell then scored with ten minutes to go and Richards added his second in injury time to complete the scoring.
The win for Carew moves them up to sixth place in the table, just a point behind fifth placed Hundleton.
On Saturday, January 29, Carew host leaders Goodwick while Tish host Hakin.
