KIDWELLY and Nantgaredig both earned victories on Saturday (Jan 7) to keep the pressure on league leaders Pontarddulais.
The Bont were victorious over Tenby while Kidwelly earned a 37-17 win over Fishguard. The win for Kidwelly keeps them in second place, three points behind the league leaders.
On Saturday, January 14, Kidwelly are at home against Loughor.
Nantgaredig earned a 10-29 win over Pontyberem on Saturday. Lloyd Williams kicked three penalties for Nant in the first half as they held a 3-9 lead at half time.
Another penalty extended that lead to 3-12 but Pontyberem scored the first try of the game to bring themselves right back in it.

However, a try from Meirion Davies, converted by Williams, followed by another penalty extended Nant’s lead to 12 points.
A further try from Rhydian Evans, again converted by Williams, secured a fifth win of the season for Nant.
Burry Port earned a 29-5 win away at Loughor. Ben Williams, David Booth and Bradley Crossman all scored tries for the Blacks. Lee Evans also crossed for a try and he also added three conversions and a penalty for a 14-point haul.
Alex Eaton grabbed Loughor’s consolation try.
Mumbles were also victorious on Saturday as they beat Milford Haven 39-7. The home side ran in six tries to earn their fourth win of the season.
