The RSPCA will be holding a birthday party like no other to celebrate its 200th anniversary with a host of events across England and Wales – including a Walk Your Dog event at Poppit Sands beach on Saturday 15 June.
Animal lovers and families from across the region are invited to join in the celebrations as part of the RSPCA’s One Fun Day which will be held at various locations across England and Wales.
Next month the RSPCA Ceredigion Branch will be hosting a dog walk event at Poppit Sands beach from 2pm to 3pm. Those taking part are asked to meet beside the RSPCA sail flags on the right hand side of the beach – which is where dogs are permitted during the summer.
The event – which calls on walkers along with their doggy companions to take part in the walk (with a distance to be decided on the day depending on the dogs/walkers) – will be one of more than 70 events, which are also being held up and down the country at RSPCA animal centres, shops and other surprising locations!

One Fun Day is an annual event on the RSPCA calendar – but this year it is extra special because the charity is celebrating its 200th anniversary – with the actual birthday day being on Sunday 16 June.
Joining in gives people and communities the chance to come together to support their local RSPCA branches and centres and help improve the lives of every animal as part of a million strong movement to change the lives of animals for the better.
