Aberdyfi event brings together insurer partners to discuss Sustainable Farming Scheme and sector challenges
FUW INSURANCE Services Ltd has hosted its fourth annual Sales Conference, bringing together staff and insurer partners from across Wales for a day of discussion, collaboration and sector insight.
The conference took place at the Trefeddian Hotel on Wednesday, January 28, and welcomed Account Executives from across the country alongside representatives from more than 15 insurer partners.
Kindly sponsored by specialist motor insurer ERS, the event featured a full programme of presentations and partner-led sessions throughout the day.
Sector insight and new developments
Insurer partners including ERS, iFarm, Intact, MSIG and GEO delivered sponsored sessions, showcasing new and evolving products, underwriting approaches and sector developments. The event highlighted the collaborative relationships between FUW Insurance Services and its partners, with a shared focus on supporting the agricultural community.
A key part of the day included a detailed presentation on the prospects for Welsh agriculture, delivered by Farmers’ Union of Wales Head of Policy Gareth Parry and Head of Communications Aled Morgan Hughes.
Their address provided insurer partners with valuable insight into the newly introduced Sustainable Farming Scheme, outlining the political, economic and practical challenges currently facing Welsh farmers. The session reinforced the importance of tailored, specialist insurance solutions for the sector.
Strengthening relationships
The conference also featured a ‘speed-dating’ style networking session between insurer partners and Account Executives, aimed at strengthening relationships, encouraging open dialogue and ensuring a shared understanding of customer needs across Wales.
A closing dinner was sponsored by Intact Insurance.
