Police appeal after early-morning assault at Welshpool livestock market

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault at Welshpool livestock market.

The incident happened sometime between 4:00am and 6:00am on Monday, July 28, when two men reportedly assaulted another man. The victim, who had been delivering animals for the market sale, suffered facial injuries.

It is understood that others at the market intervened and brought the assault to an end.
