RESIDENTS, organisations and community representatives across Powys are being asked to share their views on what well-being means to them, as part of the latest countywide survey.
The survey will help shape the updated Powys Well-being Assessment, a key document required under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, which provides an assessment of well-being across Powys, looking at current conditions, what influences people’s well-being, and how this may change in the future.
The Well-being Assessment considers four key themes:
- Social
- Economy
- Environment
- Culture and community
The Powys Public Services Board (PSB) has already gathered a wide range of data and insight but is now calling on local people to share their lived experiences and priorities.
Cllr Jake Berriman, Chair of the Powys PSB, said: “We want to hear directly from people across Powys about what matters most in their day-to-day lives.
“Your feedback will help us better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our communities, now and in the future.”
The short survey asks residents about:
- What well-being means to them
- What affects their day-to-day lives
- What should be improved now and in the future
Responses will be used to help shape the final Well-being Assessment, due to be published in early 2027, and will be used to inform the next Well-being Plan.
How to get involved:
- Complete the online survey on the Powys Well-being Assessment page.
- Paper and Easy Read copies of the survey are available to download or can be picked up from a Powys library. Please return completed forms to library staff, or scan and email them to [email protected].
The closing date for responses is September 30, 2026.
