A leading business intelligence firm has shown its appreciation for staff with an exclusive three-day festival set in the heart of west Wales.
Creditsafe, a global provider of company credit reports, hosted more than 300 employees at Fforest Farm, near Cardigan, transforming the picturesque site into a private festival ground complete with live music, DJ sets, free food and drink, and a host of activities.
The event formed part of the company’s annual tradition of recognising employee commitment and hard work. This year’s celebration followed the firm’s recent relocation from Caerphilly Business Park to a new 50,000 sq ft headquarters at Cardiff Gate Business Park, signalling a major step in its expansion. Creditsafe is now looking to recruit a further 300 staff to join its Cardiff base.
Chief executive of Creditsafe UK and Ireland, Chris Robertson, said: “This festival is a small token of my appreciation for my team, who have recently moved from our Caerphilly office to Cardiff Gate.
Each year, we organise an event to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our staff, and this year we wanted to do something a little different by creating our own three-day festival experience.”
In previous years, the company has funded an all-expenses-paid holiday to Alcudia for its entire workforce and marked its 25th anniversary with celebrations across all international offices.
Mr Robertson added: “Cash bonuses or gifts are nice in the moment, but I believe there’s no better way to show my appreciation than by giving my employees a unique experience that money can’t buy and memories that last.
I’m proud that we have such a happy team, with 97% staff retention. Our success simply wouldn’t be possible without happy people.”
Creditsafe, which also operates from offices in Cardiff Bay, Dublin and London, provides credit reports to more than 100,000 clients worldwide. Its extensive database covers 430 million businesses across 160 countries, and its predictive technology is capable of forecasting nearly 70% of business failures up to a year in advance.
The firm’s people-first approach and investment in workplace culture continue to be a cornerstone of its growth – and this latest celebration marks yet another milestone in its commitment to recognising those behind the brand’s global success.
