MAWWFRS Remains Committed to White Ribbon

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MAWWFRS) continue our committed support to ending male violence against women by supporting White Ribbon UK.

WHITE RIBBON UK is the leading charity engaging men and boys to prevent violence against women and girls.

As a Service we have taken a stand to end all male violence against women by recognising and supporting the White Ribbon Campaign. Starting – Tuesday, 25th November 2025.

We encourage everyone, especially men and boys, to make the White Ribbon Promise to never use, excuse to remain silent about men’s violence against women. All men can join the team to end violence against women and girls.

All Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service Fire Stations operate as ‘Safe Haven’s’. This means people who feel vulnerable and in imminent danger, due to stalker, domestic abuse or any other threat – can go to one of our Fire Stations to seek help and support.
