£2,500 reward offered for information on suspected rapist in Carmarthenshire

A reward of £2,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the rape of a vulnerable woman in Carmarthenshire.

The suspect, Donathon Rosemin, also known by the nickname ‘Don Ragga’, is alleged to have targeted the woman through a dating website on 10 May 2023. After establishing contact, Rosemin travelled uninvited to the woman’s home in Ammanford, where he informed her he would be staying for a couple of days. During this time, he allegedly raped her.

Rosemin, who is believed to have ties to both south Wales and London, has managed to evade arrest since the incident.

Crimestoppers Appeal

The charity Crimestoppers is offering the £2,500 reward for any information leading directly to Rosemin’s arrest. Importantly, the information must be provided exclusively to Crimestoppers in order for the reward to apply.

Hayley Fry, National Manager for Crimestoppers in Wales, said: “This is an inexcusable crime and a terrible ordeal for the victim to go through. We encourage anybody with information about Rosemin’s whereabouts to come forward and speak to our charity 100% anonymously. This means no involvement with the police, no court appearances, and no witness statements.”

Fry stressed that Crimestoppers operates independently from the police, ensuring complete anonymity for those who come forward. “Our charity, which is independent of the police, gives people the option to remain completely anonymous when telling us what they know. We have kept this promise since we started back in the late 1980s. Over half a million people contact our charity every year to pass on their crime information,” she added.

Warning Against Aiding Offenders

Fry also issued a stark reminder of the legal consequences of assisting a criminal. “It is important to also remember that if you are assisting an offender, you are committing a serious criminal offence,” she said.

“There are people out there who must know Rosemin’s location. Please speak up. Crimestoppers is open 24/7, 365 days a year via our website and on the phone. Remember that you can share with us where he is hiding, and no one will ever know.”

Anyone with information on Rosemin’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crimestoppers anonymously via their website or by calling 0800 555 111.
