Welsh DJ and producer Jamie Jones is set to return to his roots with a headline performance at Cardiff Castle on Friday, June 20, 2025. Renowned for his contributions to the house music scene, Jones will be joined by Dutch DJ and producer Chris Stussy, who will provide support for the evening.
Jamie Jones has established himself as a prominent figure in electronic music. As the founder and curator of the global Paradise event series and a member of the cross-genre band Hot Natured, his influence is widely recognised. His distinct sound, which blends elements of deep house, techno, and disco, has captivated audiences worldwide. Jones’s journey began in the mid-2000s within London’s vibrant warehouse party scene, eventually earning him the title of world’s No. 1 DJ in Resident Advisor’s annual poll in 2011.
Chris Stussy, known for his groove-laden sets influenced by early house, jazz, and disco, made his Welsh debut at Cardiff’s Depot in January 2024. His performance was well-received, further establishing his reputation in the global house scene.
The event is presented by promoters DEPOT Live and Cuffe and Taylor. Nick Saunders from DEPOT Live expressed enthusiasm about hosting Jones at such a historic venue, stating, “Jamie Jones is an icon of the electronic music scene and we’re thrilled to welcome him to Cardiff Castle.” He added that Jones’s “incredible energy and catalogue of work promise an unforgettable night.”
