North Wales firm sees UK-wide growth in holiday parks and facilities management
A NORTH WALES housekeeping and facilities management company is marking a major milestone after securing a series of new contracts, including its first in Scotland.
Godfrey Group has been appointed by international holiday park operator Landal to provide housekeeping services at its Barnsoul site in Dumfries, marking the company’s first foothold north of the border.
The Ruthin-based business has also won contracts with Low Briery, an independently owned holiday park near Keswick in the Lake District, and with Lovat Holiday Parks to deliver cleaning services at Waxham Sands in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
The new wins come after nearly three years of sustained growth for the family-run firm, during which turnover and headcount have more than doubled. The company now employs more than 300 staff across the UK and recently relocated to a new head office at the Pool Park Estate in Ruthin.
Closer to home, Godfrey Group has also secured a major contract with Love2Stay Shrewsbury, part of Salop Leisure. The agreement includes housekeeping for accommodation units as well as cleaning of communal areas such as the café, reception, gym, and shower blocks for touring and camping guests.
