POLICE are appealing for information after a man absconded from HMP Prescoed in south Wales.
Gwent Police said they are seeking help to locate Liam Wall, aged 36, who failed to return to the open prison on Sunday (Dec 15).
Wall was convicted of drugs offences at Cardiff Crown Court in July 2017.

He is described as being around five foot eight inches tall, bald, with brown eyes and a brown beard.
Members of the public are advised not to approach Wall. Anyone who sees him, or has information that could assist officers, is asked to contact police quoting reference 2500396403.
Information can be passed to Gwent Police via 101. Alternatively, details can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
