THE CARMARTHEN Harriers junior athletes have qualified for the top end of season league final in the Louise Arthur League for Under 11s, 13s and 15s after finishing third overall in all matches.
The final meeting of four, which have been taking place across the last four months, was held at Penlan Arena in Brecon on Sunday (Jul 10) and ended with more excellent performances and results. In particular, there was plenty of strength in depth in the under 11 and 13 age groups which contributed to the final total.
Once again, in consecutive matches, the under 11 girls and under 13 boys finished in the top two of their respective age groups.
The club will now go forward to the cup final of the Junior League at Newport Stadium at the end of August, where standard will be expected to be high. This event will feature teams from the East and the North.
They will be joined from the west by neighbours Pembrokeshire Harriers, Swansea Harriers and Neath Harriers.
