Forecasters have warned that snow may lead to disruptions in northern and central Wales on Thursday.
A yellow weather warning is in effect from 03:00 GMT on Thursday until 03:00 on Friday.
The Met Office has indicated that the snowfall could result in road delays, train cancellations, and power outages.
The warning encompasses Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Anglesey, Powys, and Wrexham.
Higher elevations could experience 10-20cm (4-8in) of snow.
The Met Office also mentioned that the snow is expected to ease later in the day, potentially changing to rain or drizzle, especially in the southern and eastern parts of the area.
