THERE has been a second crash on the A48 today (Oct 24) as a car left the road on the westbound carriage near Llanddarog, hitting a lamppost and ending up in a hedge.
The incident happened at 12:40pm.
Earlier today, a five-vehicle crash on the same road caused heavy congestion and injured four people.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a collision on the A48 and attended the scene at 12.45pm on Tuesday afternoon.
“The car was travelling westbound when it collided with a lamppost. The vehicle is off the road and not posing a risk to other drivers.

“Recovery is being arranged.”
The female driver was not injured in the crash, the police also confirmed.
