Lampeter man admits attempting to entice child into sex

A LAMPETER man trapped by paedophile hunters has today admitted attempting to have sexual intercourse with a girl aged under 16.

Peter Kundrak, aged 26, appeared at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing before Judge Keith Thomas.

Kundrak, of New Street, admitted attempting to entice an underage girl to engage in sexual intercourse between July 29 and October 21, 2018.

Dyfed Thomas, the barrister defending Kundrake, said the “girl pretending to be Amber” had never existed.

However, Kundrak appreciated that it was a serious offence and that the court would be considering a sentence of immediate imprisonment.

Judge Thomas agreed to sentence Kundrak on December 21 and instructed a probation officer to prepare a report into his background.

Kundrak was remanded in custody meanwhile.
