Conwy Culture Centre to host an evening with author Simon McCleave

CONWY libraries are pleased to announce a free author event in Conwy Culture Centre with Simon McCleave on Thursday March 27 at 6pm.

Simon is a multimillion-selling crime novelist who lives here in North Wales with his wife and two children.

Before taking his inspiration for his novels in North Wales, Simon worked as a script editor at the BBC and a producer at Channel 4. He has worked as a script writer for Silent Witness, The Bill, EastEnders and many more of the UK’s best-loved programmes.

The Eryri based crime series featuring DI Ruth Hunter has captivated our readers at Conwy Libraries as they read about their hometowns in novels such as, ‘The Llandudno Pier Killings’. This series is now set to be filmed as a major television series, with shooting to begin in North Wales this year.

At Conwy Culture Centre we are looking forward to welcoming Simon to talk about his novels and writing process with an opportunity to ask questions.

The event will be held in English, it will be free to attend and refreshments will be included.

Places can be reserved by contacting Conwy library:
