SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Fflint Wrecsam, is pleased to see an initiative continuing in Flint for those lost in the world of social media and websites.
Mr Rowlands, Welsh Conservative spokesperson for Education and Families, is supporting the sessions which are regularly held at Community Coffee mornings in Flint Town Hall.
He said: “I really am pleased to hear that this initiative is still continuing for people in Flint as we all know that these days more than ever we need to know more about using technology.
“Most of us rely on mobile phones, ipads and laptops to keep in touch with each other and to find out information so it is great to see sessions like these by experts for those who do need help.
“I welcome any events which help people to learn more about this subject and it is also a great way of meeting up with others and making new friends.”
The Flintshire County Council Digital Squad will be attending certain sessions at the Community Coffee morning to help those who feel a bit lost in the world of social media and websites.
Whether you need assistance with adding or deleting contacts, navigating websites, mastering social media, or anything else related to digital technology, they’ve got you covered.
If you need support from the Digital Squad then why not attend one of the upcoming sessions. No appointment is necessary – just drop by and bring your own device! on Monday, June 27 between 10am and12 noon.
The Coffee Morning is held every Wednesday but check dates of attendance for the Digital Squad with the Town Hall Office, 01352 734414.
