Sam Rowlands MS urges people of North Wales to support Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal

SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales is calling on his constituents to back leading end of life charity Marie Curie’s biggest annual fundraising appeal.

Mr Rowlands is calling on the people of North Wales to support the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal which takes place throughout the month of March.

Mr Rowlands said: “I am a great supporter of the work Marie Curie carry out and these days it is needed now more than ever.

“That is why I’m encouraging people across the whole of North Wales to show their support for the Great Daffodil Appeal, which has now been running for 40 years, in any way they can.

“Every donation is so important and means that when the time comes, Marie Curie can be there for people and their loved ones when they need it most.”

The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest annual fundraiser when volunteers and supporters across the UK engage in various activities to raise funds and awareness for the cause.

The annual campaign is organized by the Marie Curie charity and involves the sale of daffodil pins and various events to raise funds to support individuals and families living with terminal illnesses.

There are many ways people can get involved including buying and wearing a daffodil pin, organising or attending fundraising events such as bake sales and charity walks or volunteering your time to help with the campaign.
