SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is calling on constituents to share their views on Wrexham’s Cultural future.
Mr Rowlands, a keen supporter of any moves to Get Wrexham Moving is urging everyone in the city to share their thoughts through a survey.
He said: “I am always pleased to see local people being consulted and involved in what they want to see for their communities and delighted people in Wrexham are being given the opportunity to have their say.
“We all know that Wrexham has great future potential with plans for the Western Gateway moving forward, the heroics of the local football team and of course the upcoming bid to become the UK City of Culture 2029.
“It really is extremely important that local people play their part in helping to shape its future and I would urge anyone who wants to share their thoughts to take part in the survey.”
Amanda Evans, Culture Bid Director for Wrecsam2029, said: “Developing a 10-year Cultural Strategy is a vital moment for Wrexham.
“It’s about taking the values, ambition and learning from Wrecsam2029 and turning them into a long-term vision that genuinely reflects the people who live, work and create here.
“Culture in Wrexham is rich, diverse and deeply rooted in everyday life, and this strategy must be shaped by the voices of the whole community.
“I’d encourage everyone to take the time to share their experiences, ideas and hopes as we shape Wrexham’s cultural future together.”
