SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Fflint Wrecsam, is backing an event helping Wrexham to age well through stronger community connections.
Mr Rowlands, Welsh Conservative spokesperson for Families, has welcomed news of a special speed networking event later this month for organisations who support people over 25.
He said: “I am always happy to support any moves to encourage stronger community connections.
“! think it is a wonderful opportunity for all our different organisations, across the borough, to come together in one place and exchange ideas and make new contacts.
“I would urge anyone interested in taking part in the speed-networking event to sign up.”
Ageing Well Wrexham, in partnership with Wrexham Council, are running a speed-networking event on Thursday, July 30 in The Rainbow Centre in Marchweil, LL13 0RH from 12pm to 2pm.

The speed networking format will give every organization the opportunity to:
- Share what they do
- Learn from others
- Build new contacts
- Explore opportunities to collaborate
- Strengthen a shared mission for an age-friendly Wrexham
Free refreshments will also be provided.
