A DEADLINE is approaching to request by-elections to fill two vacancies on Magor with Undy Town Council.
Electors of the town’s West ward and the East ward have until Tuesday, August 12 to request in writing that by-elections are held.
Requests must be made to Paul Matthews, Returning Officer, Monmouthshire County Council, The Rhadyr, Usk NP15 1GA.
The vacancies will be filled by co-option if the threshold of 10 requests, for each ward, isn’t met. If elections are required they will take place no later than October 15.
