OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses to a sexual assault on board a train between Cardiff and Treforest.
At around 10.30pm on 15 June, the victim was travelling from Cardiff Central railway station towards Merthyr Tydfil railway station when she was approached by a man. The man then sexually assaulted her, before leaving the train service at Treforest.
He was described as a white man with ginger spikey hair and freckles, aged between 30 and 40, and wearing a navy jacket and blue jeans.
