A SUDDEN medical emergency has tragically claimed the life of 14-year-old Seren-Ella Jenkins at Amman United Rugby Football Club in Ammanford. Seren’s unexpected passing has devastated her family, friends, and the local community, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
In response, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Cari Bradshaw to support Seren’s family through this heartbreaking time, with funds aimed at covering funeral and memorial expenses. Over £5,500 has already been raised, highlighting the community’s compassion and solidarity.
On the GoFundMe page, Bradshaw wrote: “My friends and I would like to raise money to help Stephen, Sarah, and the family with the costs for the funeral and memorial for our very special friend Seren. Seren was suddenly taken from us all on Saturday (16 Nov). She’s left a big hole in all our hearts, and we miss her very, very much. Please donate if you can to help us raise as much money as possible. Any donations will be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. Thank you so much.”
She added: “Thank you so much to everybody that has donated so far. I know that no amount of money can bring our beautiful, kind, caring girl back, but your kindness will bring a little bit of comfort to Seren’s family and help give Seren the special send-off that she deserves.”
Emergency services were called to Amman United Rugby Football Club on Friday (15 Nov) after Seren became unwell. Despite treatment from air ambulance paramedics and being airlifted to the hospital, she sadly passed away early the next morning.
