A GOOD crowd on a wintry night at Grenig Park saw Cwmamman Utd see off a determined Llandarcy side with two early goals which they then defended well throughout the match.
With Mumbles Rangers not playing, Cwm moved into second place, two points ahead but with Mumbles having two games in hand.
The home side were dominant for the first 35 mins with two early well worked goals from Kyle Ashford in the 12th and debutant Josh Newman in the 16th giving them the upper hand.

An injury to Cam Berry, who had been having a strong game, saw Cwm lose a little momentum and Llandarcy subsequently came more into the game.
With Kal O Donnell, Gareth Howarth and Calum Dougal strong at the heart of the defence, Cwm were managing the attacks well.
Strong running from wing backs Rhys Griffiths and Kieran Rees and the ever dangerous Kieran Dawe also maintained Cwm’s threat to the visitors goal.
Six consecutive league wins now for Cwmamman who now play St. Josephs at Grenig Park on Friday (January 9) at 7pm.
