Police investigate burglary and scooter theft in Burry Port

CCTV appeal after garage break-in on Woodland Terrace

DYFED-POWYS Police is investigating a burglary and criminal damage incident that occurred at a property in Woodland Terrace, Burry Port, during the early hours of Tuesday, May 6.

Between 1:00am and 1:45am, damage was caused to a car and a garage door, and a blue Yamaha Airox scooter displaying an L plate was stolen from inside the garage.

One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Officers have released a CCTV image of individuals they wish to identify. Although their faces are not visible, it is hoped that their distinctive clothing and footwear may be recognisable to members of the public.

A police spokesperson said: “If you are the person in the image, or if you know who they are, we urge you to come forward.”
