STREET FOOD Cinema, the street food drive-in, is rolling back into Carmarthen Showground later this month for a festival of Halloween movies.
This is the first year Street Food Cinema is bringing its Halloween show to Carmarthen, after two years of its popular Christmas movie fest at the venue.
The immersive drive-in cinema experience will transform the Showground’s indoor warehouse space for Halloween with live pre-show performances, a fancy dress competition and a range of films like family favourites Coco and Addams Family Values, classics like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Beetlejuice, recent hits including The Joker and Ghostbusters: Afterlife and horrors including The Ritual and Halloween.
The drive-in shows films on a huge screen with sound broadcast through the car radio. Films will be shown twice a day on weekdays with four screenings on Saturdays and Sundays. A special one off late night showing of Halloween will run at 10pm on 31 October. Street Food Cinema runs for one week from 24 October to 31 October.

Street food traders will be specialising in Americana-themed drive-in classics with Smokin’ Griddle smash burgers and fried chicken, Big Apple hot dogs and Mr Soft deluxe soft serve Halloween ice cream creations. Street Food Cinema also offers sharing boxes of retro sweets, sodas and popcorn. All food is ordered from your car and delivered by a team of costumed, roller-skating waiters.

Street Food Circus is organised by Street Food Circus, which creates street food festivals across Wales including the Forest Feastival and recent Saundersfoot Harbour Feastival. Founder and ‘ringmaster’ Matt the Hat said:
“We’ve run our sold-out Halloween drive-in, dine-out experience in Cardiff for the last few years we’re thrilled to be bringing it to Carmarthen, which has been home to our Christmas events for the last few years.
“We’re building a great experience around each film to max out the fun and entertainment from the minute people pull up in their cars.
“The progamme has something for everyone – from daytime matinees for the whole family, through to date-night classics or movies for a great mates night out,” he said.
Tickets are £30.00 plus booking fee per car (with up to five people) and are on sale at streetfoodcircus.co.uk
