PLASMARL Post Office is to re-open under new management to restore service to the community.
This will be at the same location as before at 1213 Neath Road, Plasmarl, Swansea, SA6 8JT. The same Post Office services will be available.
The branch has been temporarily closed since March due to the resignation of the previous Postmaster.
A new Postmaster has been appointed and the branch is due to re-open on Friday 5 July at 1pm.
The opening hours are Monday to Friday: 7am – 7pm; Saturday: 7am – 6pm.
This provides 71 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.
Fiona Shanahan, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said, “We are delighted to soon be restoring Post Office services to Plasmarl as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service.”
