FAMILY-RUN marine and civil engineering specialist Kaymac Marine & Civil Engineering has announced its relocation to new premises at Swansea Enterprise Park as the company celebrates a major milestone of 50 years in business.
Founded in 1976 as a commercial diving contractor, Kaymac has grown into one of the UK’s leading specialist marine and civil engineering contractors, delivering complex infrastructure projects across the marine, water, energy, nuclear and transport sectors throughout the UK.
The move marks an exciting new chapter for the privately owned Welsh business, providing a modern base to support the company’s continued growth, expanding workforce and long-term ambitions.
The new headquarters at Swansea Enterprise Park will strengthen Kaymac’s operational capabilities while reinforcing its commitment to investing in the future of the business, its people and the region.

Kaymac Marine & Civil Engineering Marketing and Business Development Director, Rhiannon Crees-Moore, said: “Reaching 50 years in business is an incredibly proud milestone for everyone at Kaymac.

“From our beginnings as a small diving contractor in Swansea to becoming a trusted delivery partner on some of the UK’s most challenging marine and civil engineering projects, the journey has been remarkable.
“As a family-run company, we are hugely proud of what we have achieved together as a team over the past five decades. Our people, values and commitment to delivering quality projects safely have always been at the heart of the business.
“Moving to Swansea Enterprise Park represents an exciting new future for Kaymac.
“The new premises will give us the space and facilities to continue growing, investing in our workforce and supporting our clients across the UK while remaining proud of our Welsh roots and family values.”
Over the past 50 years, Kaymac Marine & Civil Engineering has built a strong reputation for delivering specialist marine and confined space engineering services, commercial diving operations, lock gate and flood defence maintenance, coastal and river infrastructure works, scour protection, long sea outfalls and temporary works solutions.
Despite its growth, the business says it remains committed to the family values and collaborative culture that have defined the company since its formation in Swansea nearly half a century ago.
The company’s leadership says the relocation and anniversary milestone signal the start of a new phase of investment, innovation and opportunity for the business and the communities it serves.
