Whitland Fire Station invites public to ‘Brew with a Crew’ fundraiser

Tea, cake and community spirit on offer as firefighters raise money for Fire Fighters Charity

WHITLAND Fire Station is inviting members of the public to pop in for a cuppa and a chat as part of a special fundraising event taking place on Saturday, April 11, from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

The ‘Brew with a Crew’ day will see the kettle on and the biscuit tins open, with all money raised going to support the Fire Fighters Charity.

Organisers say the event is a chance for local residents to meet the firefighters, learn more about their work in the community, and show support for those who respond to emergencies across Pembrokeshire and beyond.

Fire crews say that sharing a brew is an important part of station life, offering a few quiet moments between call-outs to reflect on incidents and prepare for the rest of the day. It also provides an opportunity for colleagues to come together, check in on each other and talk openly about mental health.

The station is encouraging ever

yone to attend, whether they are a “biscuit dunker, cake slicer, or scone connoisseur”.

The event will be held at Whitland Fire Station, 43 St David’s Avenue, Whitland, SA34 0AF.
