A VAN driver was hospitalised last night (Nov 15) after being involved in a collision on a road near Llanfynydd, at approximately 8pm.
The male driver was transported to hospital by ambulance after the van he was driving had a collision with a hedge.
There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.
Emergency services including Dyfed-Powys Police, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Service attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7.40pm on Tuesday to reports of a road traffic collision on Llanfynydd Road, Carmarthen.

“We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance to the scene and an adult male was taken to Glangwili General Hospital with potentially serious injuries.”
